ARTIST STATEMENT
My artwork explores overlapping themes of resilience, human emotion and connection, and bridging nostalgia with modernity. In my practice, I combine monotype printmaking, paper collage, and mixed media. I utilize processes such as obscuring/masking, mark-making, and layering, and include both warm and cool hues, organic and geometric shapes, and both analog and digital tools. That tension, between emotion and logic, the natural and the constructed, intention vs chance, mirrors the way we, as humans, can learn from our past to move fully into our future. My artwork is an invitation to be brave in your journey of self discovery, offering encouragement, hope, and a sense of possibility.
